We're proud of every artist we have worked with here at Starving Kids. As a label that sees itself as a launching pad for artists to kick-start their careers it's important for us that artists move forward to bigger and better things.
To date a few of our artists have been able to use their experience with SK to secure longer term deals with other parties. The Winnie Coopers, after releasing 'Being Different' with SK in 2005 have now released their second long player, 'Worth the Weight' through Illusive and number three is on the way. That's exciting for us!
Gladstone boys, Ellington, have also been able to use the momentum from their debut release through SK to secure a publishing deal with Sony Music. They have also expanded their band to a five piece and have self produced and released their second EP, 'More Like a Movie Than Real Life'.
We're excited for the other artists on our label and continue to work with them to help them make a move forward in what is a tough industry. We hope you get as much pleasure out of listening to their music as we have helping them get it out there.
