The Paper and The Plane
The Paper and the Plane are an indie rock band from Brisbane, Queensland. The band is the result of post hardcore band Asleep at the Scene merging with solo artist Dan van Zuthpen of chalkandcheese (formerly Nice Guys Finish) in 2006. Since then, they've racked up some impressive support slots, with Brand New, Thrice and Explosions in The Sky just some of the artists they have joined on the road.
The group released their second EP with Starving Kids in mid-2008, entitled A Year, Two Months, Sixteen Days and Counting. They've since signed deals with Melodic Music management and Stomp distribution.
