Thundamentals ‘Quit Your Job’ Review

Thundamentals – Quit Your Job

Currently in New Zealand supporting Hilltop Hoods, Thundamentals have just dropped a brand new film clip to single Quit Your Job off recently released album So We Can Remember. Talking about how much they hate their job but instead of quitting because they know they can’t Thundamentals decided to write a song about it.

Relaxing is what I would call this song definitely something I would listen to on a hot summer beach day or even a chilly walk home to keep me grooving. The music video for this track is totally random with kids acting as authority and absolute chaos surrounding our two front men Tuka and Jewson. Shot by Adam Callen and Made In Katana this video has the same makers as the clip to single Smiles Don’t Lie.

Kids clean a car, knives get thrown, bells get rung, guy has a shabby beard and there may or may not be a chainsaw at the end but in creating this memorable music video “No children were harmed in the making of this music video” (or so they say…. KIDDING). Quit Your Job the single should be checked out as well as the video and make sure you pay attention at 1:20 to see DJ Morgs get mad eye moody with the camera!
