Every now and then you hear a band and you know they'll be something special. Last year a friend tipped me off to Manchester Orchestra. Their album 'Like a Virgin Losing a Child' was just out and I bought the vinyl copy. The album was good, not great, but there was something special about what I was listening to. This week they have released their follow-up album 'Mean Everything to Nothing'. WOW! This is by far my favourite record of the year so far. Dynamic, diverse, emotive, moody, surprising and rockin'...one of those bands we wish we could have signed. Google them and have a listen, we'd love to hear what you think.
