We're stoked to announce that we've added Brisbane's favourite foot-stomping, swamp blues outfit, Transvaal Diamond Syndicate to our roster. 

Since grabbing a whole bunch of the right kind of attention at this year's Bluesfest the TDS lads have been busy recording new songs for the upcoming release. Fans of the band would know that they don't like to let the grass grow under their feet and it comes as no surprise that they have been busy playing shows as well.

They are currently gearing up for The Southern Stomp Run sees them playing 3 shows in three days in Victoria (Melbourne and surrounds), their southern-most tour to date. Plenty of community radio play all over Australia, as well as play of their previous single, Devil on My Shoulder, on Triple J's Home and Hosed program, has endeared the foot-stompers' tunes to a wide-spread fan base.  

The single, Ol' Carolina, is a raucous blues-stomp romp through the Southern States of the USA, down into Carolina, where the story-teller finds himself seeking the advice of old voodoo lady Big Mama to solve his problem with women - you see, he just can't keep 'em. The track was recorded in May at QUT's (Queensland University of Technology) Gasworks Studios for the triple J-supported 100 Songs project.  

The single is available for free download from http://www.transvaaldiamondsyndicate.com/olcarolina.html for the months of June and July.  It will feature on the upcoming EP.
